FACiNG REALiTY !! It had been a while since she last saw a large, lushious field of green blades of grass. It had been a while since her nose worked so hard, moving in each direction quickly. It had been a while since she had faced a forest, so clean and beautiful. Time did sure fly by. Her triangular ears faced forward as she entered the woods. The trees were all very tall, all very thick, and all very gorgeous. They looked as though they were planted in, specifically in the order they were in. The bark had began peeling from the base of the tree, the tree was bear toward the bottom but as you got futher up, it got it's limbs and branches and it's leaves. It was quite unique, Rhea had thought to herself. It was something she hadn't really noticed before. It would be something she'd remember forever - of course, that's what she had said just now since she was in one of her "better moods" per say.
Her soft paw pads were delighted by the fluff of the grass. It was pleasurable and very welcoming. The day couldn't have gotten better than what it already had been. As she walked down the center of the isle - made by the trees - she couldn't help but to notice all the sounds around her. She knew she was entering pack territory, deep in the back of her mind, but at this moment, she couldn't even think about it. It just didn't seem to pop into her mind. A long sigh escaped the maw of the female as she simply sat on her haunches, and looked . . . observed her surroundings.

The large Alpha had been relaxing at the base of one of the large trees, the cool grass a wonderful relief from the more humid air. It felt good, especially against her paw pads and her nose, which she had touched against her paws as she lazed around. The pack was swelling and she was enjoying the fact that soon, her birth pack's ways would continue on. She also had other things weighing heavily on her mind--the fact that she needed to start placing wolves into pack positions. She needed Betas. She gave a soft snort at the thought. Cwen could easily fill any position, but she was far better suited as the Head Guard. Though, Angrboda new that even with Betas, she'd trust the pack in Cwen's hands. While there might be Betas, they'd act as figure heads, keeping the mood calm---while Cwen lurked in the background, making sure the pack members staied in line while she was away.
And there was the simple fact of needing an Alpha male, eventually. She, like any other female wolf, desired to continue on her line and to make sure that right remained her's. She also knew that in order to make sure her pups were strong and healthy, she would need a male as such--a male that could lead the pack without an issue and that would demand the respect he was due to have. But that was a concern to be thought about later. She would not worry herself over such a thing just yet. That would come over time.
She was drifting in and out of the thoughts when the wind shifted, bringing all the familiar scents to her keen nose, as well as one strange one. However, there was no need to follow her nose--all she needed to do was lift her head and gaze across the short expanse of grass towards the intruder. She gave off no harsh vibes, but then it was unwise to let one's guard down. Rising, the battle scarred female streched and then moved with ease away from her tree, across towards the intruder who's back was currently towards Angrboda. For a brief moment, Angrboda turned her one eyed gaze away from the stranger towards the field in which she was currently looking at. It was, indeed, a wonderful site and Angrboda was truely pleased at having such a space within her terrirtory.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Her voice finally pierced the silence, but it was followed by nothing else. She had kept several feet between her and the other female, just incase she reacted agressively, but that seemed unlikely.

FACiNG REALiTY !! Startled by the voice that pierced the peaceful surroundings, Rhea quickly got up and spun around. Her eyes were wide, whites showing, her hair sticking up, but her teeth did not show. She was in too good of a mood, she was just scared. The female backed up a couple of steps before taking in a deep breath to relax herself. The female standing in front of her had many scars on her - quite noticeable. Unlike Rhea, she had several deep gashes that left fur not able to cover them. One was on her cheek and one on her shoulder. That was the one vicious fight that would never escape her thoughts, her memory, one that made her want to chance. The fur on the back of her neck and on her spine lowered, placing itself with the rest of her fur. Her pelt wasn't the most clean but it wasn't the dirtiest one around either. Her eyes and all muscles relaxed as she sat back down on her haunches, tongue lolling out as she panted.
"I'm very sorry about that"
Her lyrics were soft and gentle, her eyes sweet and she wagged her tail from side to side. She nodded, however, agreeing with the larger female that stood before her.
"Indeed, it is very beautiful"
For some reason, she kept all her comments quick and short. She had gotten a vibe from the female - not a bad vibe, but surely a vibe that told the voice inside her head to calm herself and not act up in any way. Don't come across as challenging. She grinned softly. A breeze passed by, making her fur sway from side to side. She looked back at the scenery, her ears twitched as she turned back to the female. Deciding to be polite, she spoke once again.
"I'm Rhea, by the way"

The large female studied the other's reaction silently, understanding the very fact that she had did stepped out of nearly nowhere and might have caused the other a bit of a shock. However, to Angrboda's pleasant surprise, she did not reaction aggressively, and she silently made a mental note of that. So far, so good. For some time, she allowed the silence to strench, giving a brief nod when the other offered an apology, allowing the other to know that her words where accepted and as of now, there would be no hard feelings. However, she still voiced no words, allowing the other female to continue, her single dark hued eye shifting away from the other's form so that she could once again study the distant field and the soft, emerald sea that seemed to sway and dance each time a gust of wind whipped up. Although the grasses could hide a great deal of dangerous creatures, Angrboda had found that this spot to be one of her favorites.
Again, she nodded, this time voicing her agreement with the female's comment. "It is. Its my favorite, actually." She said nothing more, finally turning her hard, one eyed gaze so that it settled unwavering on the female's face. Again, Angrboda said nothing, simply allowing the silence to strench on, feeling that one's reaction to the growing silence and a tense first meeting would help reveal a great deal about their character and so far, she had not been wrong in her judgement process.
With a flick of her tail, she finally spoke up after having heard the other's name. "Ah, well, Rhea, I am Angrboda. The owner of these beautiful lands. You have stumbled upon a packland." Again, she turned her gaze away, this time to study a tree with what seemed to be unneeded attention. However, if one where to peer closer, they would make out the still form of a lizard who, having spotted a shadow of a bird flying over head, had frozen so that they wouldn't be snatched up and made into dinner. For several long moments, the ugly creature remained frozen and then, suddenly, scampered up the rest of the tree and disappearing into a clump of leaves. With a disapproving snort, Angrboda tore her half-blinded gaze away from the tree. "Tell me, Rhea. What might be your purpose here? Are you merely a traveler or is there something I might beable to help you with?"

FACiNG REALiTY !! The large fae that stood before her was real quiet and very polite - hearing Rhea out the whole time. Though, there wasn't much Rhea wanted or had to say. She was new here, she had just met the female, and things were just silent moments ago. It was nice, however, to get company from one like herself. She had been a loner for several months now - due to traveling. She would run into a pack here and there, but it wasn't a place she wanted to stay at - she wanted to be in a place where she was accepted for who she was, not for what she looked like or whatever. Things now-a-days seem to be more about the physique than the insides. Of course, maybe Rhea did come off as a bit "thin" not too "muscular". But don't judge a book by it's cover - that's what she always had in mind. She always tried her best to give someone a chance to show their real self, to shine, and to be who they really are and not just what you wish to see in them. It's a really hard thing to do - a bad habit in which Rhea is trying to change. Maybe Rhea wasn't being her true self, or maybe, she wasn't her true self growing up. Maybe she thought she had to show off this bad girl kind of act to live. Then again, being a loner changes who you really are.
Rhea had snapped out of her thoughts when the larger female spoke again. Her voice was soothing and very comforting, warm and open. She felt safe, secured, and she felt this was the place she wanted to live. Angrboda. It was such a unique and different name - catchy and easily (kind of) memorable. To Rhea, it stuck. What was the meaning behind the fae's name? Keeping silent, Rhea continued to listen to the female. When she heard she was actually speaking with the alpha, she was caught looking at her like a deer in headlights. For some reason, don't know why, Rhea got a bit tense and nervous around the alphas. She always thought she had to do whatever she could to please them. That wasn't what they wanted - so she found out. They mainly wanted pack members that were able to respect them, be polite to them, but never to fear them. They wanted the pack members to come speak with them if and when they had something they wanted to talk about. After the female sounded about finished speaking, Rhea cleared her voice.
"You are quite lucky to have such beautiful lands, Angroboda. If you don't mind me asking - what does your name mean?"
She watched the female again, quietly, lowering her head a bit so she didn't look so "big" to her. Then, she opened her mouth once more.
"Well, in reality, I was merely a loner. I am in search of a pack, actually."
There was a lot to think about, what to say, and how to word it. What would Rhea like to do as a part of this pack and what might she be able to bring to this pack? Was this pack elite and didn't accept wolves like her? She wasn't sure. She sighed softly.
"I'd prefer to be a hunter, honestly. I am quite fast - on top of that, I have agility. Endurance? Semi, but I can run for quite some time. I have anger problems, you see, but I believe if I become a hunter, I can lose the stress and frustration and give it out on the prey. There for, I will not be rude to you all. Plus, I love the whole running and bringing down prey. I find it very fun and pleasurable."
Rhea spoke truthfully, that's all there was to it. She could either decide she wanted to be fake to the alpha or be true. Which, Rhea was working hard with everything, might as well be true right? But if this was the old Rhea, she would either walk away or be fake. This was the new Rhea.

ooc: This will be short and horrible, so forgive me. ;d
For some time, the large female remained silent, her single amber eye settled thoughtfully on the female before her, studying her, getting to know her posture, her form. There was no open display of danger there, nor disrespect and this, Angrboda found to her liking. The question the female voiced was simple enough. From the others she had met, her name had indeed, seemed far different then the rest. With a almost sad smile, she turned her gaze away to study the distant clearing before her. "The meaning? Unfortunately, I myself, do not know. That would be a question for my parents, if they still graced this earth. What I have gathered, however, that it was the name of a great fearsome beast. A mistress of the frost. I suppose there was a reason behind calling me such, but I don't believe to friends, the name is not all that suiting. Enemies, perhaps, its better fit for me." Her thick tail lashed out once, and she settled her one eyed gaze back upon the female, nodding as she spoke.
She found the trait of honesty to be a good one and the fact that the female was willing to admit her faults was surprising. "Then a hunter you shall be. You fill discover many chances to run here. Even if it lacks the prey part. We have plenty of open land to strech your muscles. Consider yourself, Rhea, a loner no more. You are a member of this pack now. So I expect you and others to behave as such, but I feel that it is not a concern that I will have about you. You will find yourself most comfortable here." She paused, shifting her gaze towards the distant, towering castle. "That formation there, as frightening as it may appear, serves as our den site. It is wonderful protection from the elements. You may explore the land further or make your way to the densite and settle in." She began to turn away, but paused, a thought springing to mind. "Ah, yes. I would like to warn you, however. Cwen will be in a foul mood because I have slipped away from her watch. But fear not. She is no threat to you unless you prove to be a threat to me."
