It has been a year since the earthquake rocked the Valley, and the wolves are gathering in Caden Valley.

Caden Valley was not struck nearly as badly as Empyrean Valley, the summer before. However, the pack did shrink in size and leave, and Caden announced himself as Alpha. Only he and his little sister remained in the pack to begin with.

When Duke arrived from Empyrean Valley, a straggle of survivors trailed behind him. Empyrean Valley had been badly hit. The two packs there had deteriorated, but Duke was determined to rebuild his. He threatened Caden almost immediately with his small band of followers, setting up the Falling Moons pack instantaneously.

Those who hated Duke fled to Caden's pack, insisting he called them the Dancing Stars pack. He obliged and his pack grew well, rising from the noble stories of the previous Stars pack.

More wolves are coming, now, whether they be bewildered loners or lucky survivors. Can Caden lead his hopeful wolves out of Duke's dark shadow? Or will Duke lead an uprising and claim Caden Valley for himself?
