'Hmmm...quaint little place.' Aysinia thought as she walked down the streets of the once human filled street. Her mother used to tell her stories of the two legged creatures. None of them good. She always said that they were arrogant and out to destroy everything! That they only cared for their own lives and no one else. Her mother died when she was only nine months old. Karissa was an old dog that much she knew. Aysinia never got the "dying from old age" thing. Maybe she would eventually.
The young shepherd dog's ears pricked and cold sweat came over her as she felt liked she was being watched. If there was one thing in the world Aysinia hated more then a chicken dog was a chicken dog who sneak up on you! She would rather be surprised by a dog who could come out and fight like a...well a dog! She lifted her snout and sniffed the sky. 'Let's see...mold, water, rotting garbage...aha!'
Aysinia turned around snarling, her eyes narrowed as she looked around, "I know you're out there!" She yells out still growling, "Come on out!"

How many times do you have to die before you know you're dead?
The rush of the wind stirred the leaves and branches of trees around making the noises that made fur stand on your back. The clicking of nails across the paved ground echoed out into the city streets. They where abandoned and empty like this young pups tummy who could really work for a morsel to eat. Her dirty black coat and crimson-brown eyes that held no sight to them where dull. Though she looked like she was dying her tail was held high wagging with motion and a smile across her lovely face. When things get you down always look on the other side of the wall.
Blindly Halo trotted forth not really knowing where she was or where she was going she was just walking for the hell of it. Tail still flicking happily Halo trotted forward and didn't notice the scent of another dog. As she moved farther the sudden harsh tone made another female startled Halo and she hid for a seconds before walking out, her tail tucked and head low. A small whimper escaped her mouth, she didn't like being yelled at and from the scent she was getting this female was older and, much older.
Um... Halo looked at the ground and shivered and looked back up even though she had only the blackness to see. Feeling warm in the face Halo smiled slightly. Sorry to intrude, madam. I'll go right away if you don't want me to be here. Halo said, ears back and eyes closed now and her tail still tucked out her. She didn't have much experience with aggressive dogs and she felt like she was about to be killed.
Her black muzzle lowered and Halo took a couple steps back feeling frightened and unsettled a bit. She didn't have fighting experience nether so she didn't really know how but if it came down to it Halo would try her best. She knew they she wouldn't win though, she was blind. ... Last minute Halo cut herself off so she didn't say anything she would regret.

Aysinia softened up as she saw the terrified little pup. 'The poor thing must be so cold and scared...' the shepherd let out a soft whimper to let the pup know that she wasn't there to harm it. Now Aysinia felt bad. How could she have been so mean to a pup?! Of course she didn't know it was just a small pup. But she should have been able to smell it,,,
"Its OK little fella. I'm not gonna hurt you." the shepherd crouched down to the pup's level as to not scare it any more. "I'm sorry young one. You just startled me that's all." Aysinia smiled softly waiting for the little one's reaction.

The softening tone of the other female told Halo right away that there was no harm here. Only being a year old she wasn't that much of a threat just a cute little fluff ball storming around handing out love. The softness of the other female seamed to touch Halo's head and soon her tail began to wag again and her harks tipped forward slightly. Taking a step forward Halo sniffed the other female but retreated back a couple of steps still a bit unsure. Then again when your blind you can't be all out "hey how are you? Wanna be my fiend?" It just didn't work like thats, thats how you get killed.
Shaking her head slightly Halo straighted her thoughts out and turned her harks toward the other female and smiled crookedly. Um... I'm Halo, Who are you? She asked cocking her head to the side curiously and slightly but surely she fell into a sitting position but still ready to jump up and move. She wasn't going to trust this female completely, yet. There where still things missing in her puzzle.
Making herself conferable Halo smiled slightly and let her nose dift as she sniffed the soft smell of something but what? Was it food? YES! It was some kind of animal but Halo was to dazzled to figure it out, she was hungry. Looking over her shoulder into her forever darkening gave she sighed wishing maybe just a bit of sight would do. Shaking herself mentally Halo turned back to the other female need to ask an important question. Where am I?
Tail twitching Halo cocked her head to the left and gave the female a very confused look. The young pup didn't have a clue where she was and she was trying to get back to Denali Lake Territory. It was much harder then she though, she should have stayed there instead of wandering off again but when you wanna explore you have to, you just have to.

"I'm Aysinia but you can called me Ice if you wanna." the shepherd replied just in case Halo couldn't pronounce her regular name. If she could, she could but at least she had an option if she couldn't.
"So where are we?" the Shepherd asked out loud to no one in particular. She never really thought of that. She looked around intently. She knew she was in Hayling. She would be dead if she was in any of the pack's territories. Then she saw an old dilapidated street sign. It read 'Parkcrest Ave.'
"We are in Parkcrest Avenue." she replied turning tot he pup. Something about this young one seemed odd at the very least. but she didn't want to seem rude.
"Uh...if you don't mind me asking...uh...are you...well blind?" Aysinia muttered softly as she blushed furiously hoping that she didn't just offend the little gal.

Parkcrest Avenue... Halo repeated slowly sniffed the air lightly as she let her ears bounce around from one direction to another. The soft rattling of leaves and howl from the wind echoed out into Halo's mind as she listened. After silence Ice spoke again and Halo jumped slightly and gave the other female a little bit of a 'what?' look before she actually noticed she just asked if she was blind. Hesitating for a moment, Halo soon nodded slowly. Yes I am.
Feeling a bit nervous and unsure of what Ice would say or do next Halo ran her paw across the ground nails clipping again it. Picking her head back up Halo sighed a bit and let the cool wind run across her black body. Sometimes she wished she wasn't blind it was just so hard to do the things she wanted to do. She was just hoping Denali Lake Pack would take her in and then she could prove that even a blind canine is just as good. She was young but she had her skills just not that many.
Blinking in the blackness Halo let her ears drift around listening the nothing till she pirked then forward to Ice. So why are you here? Looking for something or someone? Halo asked, tail wagging slowly and head tipped slightly to the side. She was always curious about the happening around others and wasn't afraid to ask. She was just curious.

"Hmm you're very brave and strong." Aysinia replied ignoring the pup's questions. Though she had to admit they were very legitimate questions. Why was she here? Pbbt...she didn't know. Hmm...she didn't know much of anything to tell the truth. Aysinia sighed as she looked down at the pup. She cautiously walked to her side and nuzzled her comfortably. The pup jumped outta her skin to be expected but the shepherd sat still.
"Its all right. I promise you that I'm not gonna hurt you. You can trust me." She replied as she stood still. But she guessed in order for the pup to trust her, she had to trust Halo.
"So what am I doing here eh?" Aysinia smirked as she strategically changed the topic, "I guess you could say that I'm just looking for answers." Then the shepherd dog couldn't help but laugh. Then she noticed Halo glaring at her, "Oh I'm sorry." Aysinia chuckled, "I'm just laughing at myself. Never been the philosopher type and here I am talking like one. Heh how ironic..." the femme laughed softly as the breeze ruffled through her fur leaving it spoofed.
