deep brown eyes with a hint of crimson red shown out into the dusky morning through the soft lining of trees. Sightless and beautiful, Halo walked forward with grace but caution to as she picked her way. Harks where forward and head held slightly closer to the ground. The soft wind ran across her spin making the black fur along her nape stand up. The went ground under her paws squished and Halo made a slight face at this. Tail flicking she sniffed the air. Water.
Stepping over a small rock Halo lowered her head and pocked the ground only to find it was the lake. A dogish smile crossed her face as she lapped water up. A sigh escaped her muzzle and she sat down relaxing a bit now. Harks shifted back listening to the soft dripping of water and calls of birds. The wind howling through the trees and the soft pitter patter of small animals feet.
Taking another drink Halo stood up and turned, walking forward in a slow pace. Head set even with the shoulders and talk hanging lowly behind. Soft black pelt ruffled slightly and curved body swayed slowly, hips moving with grace and skill. Stopping, Halo picked her head up and sniffed the wind that carried the scent of another wolf. It was a canine from Denali Lake Pack, smelt like leader maybe or member, not sure. Shaking her head Halo made herself comfortable under a tree waiting for the other canine.
Lowering head head slightly Halo yawned and then started flattening her coat out that was all puffed out from the wind. Looking up from the sound of foot steps Halo scented the air, they where near. Standing up she took two steps forward harks bouncing off everywhere trying to find out where the canine was coming from. Her nose picked up the scent and she turned her head slightly. Hello?

A large Hybrid made his way through the grass, the morning grass wet with not only dew, but the light rain that fell from the sky. His fur already looked stringy from the wet, and frankly, he could give less of a shit what he looked like at the moment, he was more concentrated on the scent that blew his way from the chilly breeze. It was female, that was for sure, and she had some wolf to her. Shaking out his fur, he rounded a corner riddled with small furs and other such trees and gazed around with his stormy eyes, landing on a smaller female, black.

Roxbury grinned to himself, he always enjoyed toying with pretty females. They just got so mad, it was amusing. The male approached the female from behind, not attempting to be quiet whatsoever. She appeared to take the hint, and rose, however not looking directly at him. Watching with interest, her ears moved everywhere, seemingly trying to locate the sounds he was making and what direction he was moving. He could not be sure, and at that moment she moved her head ever so slightly in his direction. Words bubbled forth from her, a question greeting. Roxbury didn't think he was going to be so cruel to this female, not yet any who.

She was to interesting. His own black ears perked, he cleared his throat and spoke as well. " Who are you, and why might I ask are you trespassing on this territory today? " The words came forth with rich, deep tones, one that would suggest that he was powerful and held authority.

Halo get slightly tense from the words behind her, she was slightly off by where the brute was. Turning around, tail swayed in a circular motion and dropped back to her heels once she faced brute. Though she was facing the brute it was more like she was looking through him instead of at him. Halo's nose twitched as she scented the air, he had wolf in him and carried the scent of a leader.
Umm... I'm Halo and I was well, looking for a pack to join... Halo started, a bit unsure on what she would be saying but soon spat it all out. Feeling a bit nervous and unsettled Halo sank her claws into the ground as she stood there feeling the eyes of the other brute sink into her skin. Whats your name, sir? She asked, tipping her head slightly to the side giving a cute but curious look.
One hark forward and the other back Halo listened to what the brute was going to say and any sounds coming from behind, she didn't want to get jumped from behind. Her tail flicked and she glanced toward the ground or where she thought its whereabouts where. Taking a deep breath her deep chest raised high and then fell. She felt a bit stressed and she didn't like being stressed and she felt like she didn't place and deep down she knew it, she didn't place anywhere.
Her sightless eyes wandered up again to where she was guessing the brute was. Even though Halo was feeling a bit odd and unsettled she didn't show she looked relaxed but take a look at her eyes and you could see. You could see that she was a but unsure of the brute and she was going to have to test him, but how?
Harks changed sides and Halo took a step forward head being picked up slightly. Cocking her head slightly to the side Halo took a deep breath again mostly trying to memorize the scent of the brute, she didn't want to forget it. She could tell just by the scent that he was an interesting character and how he talked he was most defiantly the leader. He had an edge to himself, he was different.
Halo tried to smile not really know how to go about and talk to this brute. How was he going to react to this? He seamed nice but maybe she was missing something a dark side, a side she hadn't seen yet or more likely heard. Head still held slightly over her shoulders Halo sat down, was he going to do something if she did? Still braced and ready though Halo looked curiously at the brute just waiting for a reaction, she was being a bit testy.
