He wasn't sure where they were going; but he didn't think that the formidable female would take too kindly to a 'whelp' like him asking impertinant questions like that. 'Whelp' - ugh. One day, he'd make her see that he was no such thing; in fact, Ko wasn't at all a bad warrior; but he could see that his undernourished appearance would give the wrong impression. He didn't look the strong male that he had been, even two moons ago. However, hopefully he's get back on track soon. As he heard her question, he was suprised. Rank? Ko padded to the left of Cwen, his paws making quiet cracking noises as they broke bracken and twigs underfoot. The day was slowly turning to dusk; streaks of red and orange now coloured the layer of sky closest to the sun. And the creeping tentacles of twilight couldn't be far behind. Night time was held dear to Ko; for he became alive then. Everything felt more real, more acute. Ko grinned, for night time couldn't be far away now. His stomach let out a particularily loud growl, ut it would have to be sorted out later. Cwen showing him 'round was more important. Sneaking a last look at his new Alphess over his shoulder, Ko smiled - a smile of determination and hope.}
