Wildlife; Elk, moose, squirrels, beavers, birds, black bears, grizzly bears, coyotes, red foxes, grey foxes, owls, lynx, bobcat, cougar, racoon, badger, fisher, martin, mink, river otter, striped skunk, long-tailed weasel, short-tailed weasel, wolverine, mule deer, white-tailed deer, bison, bighorn sheep, mountain goat, pronghorn, bats, jackrabbits, cottiontail rabbits, hares, pika, shrews, chipmunk, marmot, gopher, mouse, muskrat, vole, woodrat, porcupine, wolverine.
Plot; The packs have lived happily in YNP for many centuries, free to roam around, and do as they please. Three packs have been formed; The Oka Pack, the Neesai Pack, and the Toklo Pack. The rest of the wolves are roamers, rogues, or loners. The wolves have had very little contact with the humans, rarely any. The humans just make sure everything is up and running. They don't even help if a wolf has a severe medical condition- they just let nature take it's coarse. And then suddenly, a severe virus infects all the humans of the earth. First sign is loss of speech, second is body disorientation, last, is death. It happens almost instantly, and you're dead within a minute. Some die in the enclosure, and the wolves start milling around the carcasses. The wolves were exposed to it air-borne, but nothing happened. But now, they are touching the infected meat, swallowing infected clothing, and many changes are happening to them. Some die instantly, others go through siezures and spurts of aggression. It starts spreading like a domino effect, and many wolves are no longer the same, sporting odd colors and deformed body parts. The wolf population has been cut down, but things don't stop there. There are many dangers every single day; you have to make sure you don't go near an infected wolf, eat any of the rotten meat, touch anything odd looking. And on top of all that, more space is free, as more wolves are dying. Before the catastrophe, all boundaries were set firmly. But now, all the packs are fighting for whatever they can get, so they'd have a better chance of non-infected food. Everything is chaos without the humans. All is out of order, and too much to handle. Besides the wolves, the other animals are getting infected with the virus aswell. Nothing's safe, no-one's safe....could you make it out alive?
